In 'Kingdom,'Joel Rea relocates the grand tradition of allegorical painting into the architecture of the contemporary metropolis, constructing a scene in which spectacle, power, and vulnerability coexist within the ordinary rhythm of urban life. Kingdom and other original paintings by Joel Rea were featured in Intimacy, 2026, Rockhampton Museum of Art, Queensland, Australia.
