Five paintings by Joel Rea are featured in the latest issue (four) of 6YL art magazine based in Melbourne, Australia. Issue Four explores the idea of ‘POWER’. In a year full of political unrest, natural disasters, and all-round bad things, our 54 artists have given us their interpretations of ‘POWER’.
6YL (a.k.a. Six Years Later) is a limited-edition publication showcasing the art of creatives from around the world. Each issue is a visual exploration of a chosen theme.
Published annually, 6YL showcase the work of painters, photographers, illustrators and all-types of creatives from around the world. Each issue is a visual exploration of a certain concept or idea. So far 6YL have delved into the ideas of ‘Consumerism’, ‘Surface’ , ‘Instinct’ and most recently, ‘Power’.
